Erben Renewal is a two owner boat that has been lovingly maintained by both of her owners.  She was built with the very popular Widebody configuration and features an island queen berth for the master.  She is very well equipped and is on her way back from an extensive Caribbean cruise sporting a fresh new paint job.  She has also completed the Great Loop twice, the Down East Loop, the Triangle Loop and witnessed the 2017 America’s Cup in Bermuda.  She is equipped with active fin stabilizers which will gaurantee a pleasant ride in any weather you might encounter.  This is your chance to own a well loved Widebody Krogen 42'.  Don't miss out on this one.

Full Specifications


Solid hand laid PPG combo mat fiberglass below the waterline. Closed cell PVC sandwich core used in topsides and superstructure. End-grain balsa-cored pilothouse top and boat deck. Vinylester resin used in first two laminates below the waterline. 3M 5200 sealants used at hull-to-deck and boat deck joints. Marine grade plywood bulkheads with mahogany stringers and frames. All the port holes are large stainless steel ports with screens so lots of natural light and ventilation get below deck.



The wide body saloon is accessed through the double doors from the aft deck. To starboard is a large L-shaped settee, end cabinet and folding dinette table. To port is a settee, end cabinets, large cabinet with bookshelves overhead and cabinets with a bar below. There are large opening windows port and starboard. There are also screens for the windows and doors with all being replaced in 2019. The settees also feature abundant storage under all the cushions.  Custom cushions and pleated blinds new in 2019.   For entertaining, the saloon also has a 24" Vizio LED TV with a Sony Blue-ray. There is also a Sony AM/FM CD player stereo and Pyle amplifier.  This stereo has additional zones with individual volume controls in the staterooms, pilothouse, and flybridge.  There is also a Phantom screen door for the aft double doors and snap on screens for the windows to keep out the unwanted bugs while allowing the refreshing breezes to blow through.




Located forward of the saloon on the starboard side, the U-shaped galley is large with generous storage in multiple lockers. There are custom Silestone counters with a Thermocast single basin sink with an updated Delta single lever faucet and spray head. There is also a Seagull filtered water dispenser along with a full compliment of galley appliances to help prepare gourmet meals underway or at anchor. Other components include:

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is located forward and features an island queen berth, two hanging lockers and generous drawer storage under the bed and in the vanity. For wonderful ventilation, there is an overhead hatch and four opening stainless steel ports with screens that allow for a breeze through the boat while on the hook or at the dock.  There are 2 Caframo 12V fans installed above the bed and multiple 12V USB power outlets at each bedside.  The stateroom has been updated with a custom laundry hamper and Italian halogen lighting. For entertainment there is a 17" Axess LED TV and Bose speakers connected to the Sony stereo in the saloon.  There is an individual volume adjustment in the stateroom.

Den / Guest Stateroom

The den/guest stateroom is located aft of the master stateroom on the starboard side. There is an L-shaped convertible settee, Pullman berth, bookcase, desk with drawer, locker storage and safe. This room makes for a wonderful office that can be converted for overnight guests.


The head is opposite the guest stateroom and contains a large stall shower with an upgraded aluminum and glass shower door, Raritan Atlantes AV fresh water head, Talavera basin, Silestone counter and two opening ports.  There is a mirrored vanity along with teak towel bars and a large cabinet under for storage.  There are also storage behind the washer/dryer.




The pilothouse includes a convertible settee (custom fabric new 2019) for extra sleeping and long passages, Dutch side doors port and starboard, 2 opening ports provide added ventilation while underway or at anchor.  For extra ventilation the center windshield opens to really catch the breezes. The pilothouse also features a long table in front of the settee for dining in the pilothouse or perhaps to hold your laptop or book while underway. There are also window privacy/sun screens for the outside of the windows that keep the pilothouse cooler on even the sunniest of days.  The screens in the pilothouse were all replaced in 2019.  Multiple 12V USB power outlets have been installed.  There is abundant storage available in multiple drawers and lockers.
