Description

BAGUS is, without question, the best maintained 39 Krogen available. 100% Awlgripped in 2017, this trawler shines like new.  Low engine and generator hours, light use and attention to detail maintenance add to the value.  At home on the great loop, the ICW or off shore, BAGUS, like every Kadey-Krogen boasts a full-displacement hull design that provides the sea keeping ability to safely cruise long distances in blue water.  Truly a remarkable boat, well worth seeing.

BAGUS pronounced Ba-Goose means "Very Good" and this boat truly is.

Accommodations

Covered Back Deck

A hallmark Kadey-Krogen feature, the 39 has a spacious covered "back porch" with teak decks, side and transom boarding doors.  A ladder on the port side leads to the boat deck and fly bridge.  Utilities on the "porch" include a hot and cold fresh water shower,  fresh and salt water hose bibs and 110 vac power.  Access to a large swim platform is through the transom door.  The area is protected with sun screens.

Saloon

The saloon is entered through a beautiful varnished teak door from the covered aft deck.  Teak parquet flooring flows forward and into the galley. Port side is a settee (convertible to a double berth) with large drawers beneath.  On the starboard side is a L-shaped settee with a expandable teak table.  With the table opened, up 6 people can dine with ample space.  The saloon is bright with three full size opening windows.  Each window has screens, curtains and a matching teak valance.  A 12 vdc TV is mounted in the corner.  The TV  with an internal DVD is connected to the on air HD antenna.

Pilothouse

The pilothouse is up three steps from the saloon.  There are weathertight welded aluminum Dutch doors port and starboard which, combined with a stainless steel aft bulkhead port, and two (2) overhead hatches, provide plenty of natural ventilation and light. These doors also provide access to the forward deck.  There is a comfortable settee that converts to a double berth with a custom table and custom built-in storage beneath the wheel.  The pilothouse has a classic/nautical  teak and holly deck.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is forward and down from the pilothouse.  There is a queen-size island berth, two hanging lockers, a mirrored and lighted vanity, drawer storage and generous under-berth storage . Four stainless steel opening ports and a screened overhead hatch provide light and ventilation. There is a flat-screen TV that is connected to the HD on air antenna.

Head

The head is aft of the stateroom on the starboard side. There is a Raritan Marine Elegance macerating freshwater head, stall shower with bi-fold aluminum and glass door, vanity with mirrored medicine chest and stainless steel opening port.

Galley

The open-faced galley is located forward of the saloon on the starboard side, and looks out into the saloon. There is ample storage within multiple cabinets and drawers.  The major components include:
