Ray & Bonnie’s Trawler Life
With many visiting the Miami International Boat Show next week, the Nordstroms’ advice to those contemplating trawler life is to really consider their career and retirement plans. “Our first 10 years spent on our Krogen 44’ were great, but because we were not yet retired, we could never get enough of it! We loved cruising.” But if you wait until you retire, you’ll miss A LOT. Regardless of when you get a Krogen, it is a wonderful experience.”
Now newly retired, we’re proud to report they have begun a new adventure aboard their new Krogen 52′! Read their Kadey-Krogen journey!

Richard shares his heartwarming story of flying the Kadey-Krogen flag around the world with his beloved Krogen 42′, Dauntless.
From Ireland’s chilly Atlantic, to the sailors safe-haven of San Francisco Bay, Richard shares his biggest obstacles and even sweeter triumphs of his journey.
