Full Specifications


The saloon is entered through double teak doors off the large covered after deck.  To port, there is a fixed settee that provides a tremendous amount of storage beneath. To starboard is a large settee with teak table.  All cushions were replaced with marine grade foam and covered in ultra leather in 2014. Two opening windows on port and starboard as well as a window facing aft keep the room bright and airy.  Teak valances and curtains provide privacy when needed.



The large open galley is on the starboard side just forward of the saloon.  There are numbers losers and drawers for storage.  A large opening porthole allows in light.  Opposite the galley on the port side of the boat is a large book shelf/bar area,  pantry and matching porthole.  The galley features:

The pilothouse is up five steps from the saloon.  The Krogen 48 pilothouse is expansive and boasts two workable chart areas on port and starboard.  An custom leather L-shaped settee with table provides the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or even work remotely. The settee also pulls out to make into a double berth.  There are two overhead hatches to provide ventilation and two portlights aft offering good view aft as well.  Teak doors to port and starboard provide easy access to the deck.

Master Stateroom

Forward in the bow area is the master stateroom.  It features an island queen berth.  A vast amount of storage is offered under the bed as well as numerous drawers, two large hanging lockers and some hidden storage areas.    An overhead hatch and 4 opening ports let in ample light.  

Master Head

The master head is an ensuite head.  It features a stainless steel sink with Corian counter top, a Vacuflush head and a large separate stall shower.  There are two portholes for light and air as well as ample storage in lockers and a medicine cabinet.

Guest Head

 The guest head is across the hallway from the guest stateroom.  It features a sink with Corian counter, Vacuflush head and separate stall shower.  There is cabinet storage as well as a medicine cabinet.   Two opening portholes make for a bright an airy room. The GE washer/dryer is in a locker that is enclosed with louvered doors on the aft side of the head.  

Guest stateroom/office

The guest stateroom is down three steps from the galley to the starboard. There is a settee that converts to a large double berth as well as a pullman berth to accommodate extra guests.  A comfortable desk and bookshelves make the perfect home office area.  There is ample storage in drawers and a large hanging locker.
