Description

The Krogen 39' is an excellent trawler design in every respect. She is fully ocean-capable, but with a 4'3" draft, can easily navigate most coastal or inland bays, creeks and anchorages. However, unlike most motor yachts, which work best going from marina to marina, where they can connect to shore power, and refuel, ASIS is set up to be completely at home away from civilization on anchor for days, even weeks at a time. Her fuel efficiency is remarkable for a 35,000 lb vessel. The burn rate is about 1.5 gph at 7 knots, providing a cruising range of over 3000 miles. ASIS can cruise for months without refueling giving you the option of where you want to cruise as opposed to where there is a fuel dock.

All navigation systems, including radar and chart plotter, are duplicated in the pilot house and on the flybridge, so she can be easily operated from either station. The 10 hp bow thruster makes docking a breeze.

If air conditioning is desired, three separate systems (pilot house, master cabin and salon, 42,000 btu total) can all be powered by the generator. Dinghy handling, frequently a problem area, is made simple with powered winches for lifting and launching the dinghy. The dinghy has a 15 hp Yamaha four cycle engine, which means that dive sites or marinas miles from your anchorage can be reached easily and quickly at 20 mph.

ASIS is an ideal trawler for a couple wishing to visit remote cruising areas and anchorages near or far.  She has been meticulously maintained by her owners and hauled every year so she is ready to depart tomorrow for the cruise of your dreams.  If you are looking for a turn key trawler in great condition, ASIS is the boat for you.
