Help us Communicate Better!

As Krogen owners know, Kadey-Krogen Yachts has always listened to your ideas and incorporated many of those ideas into our standard offerings. Now, in addition to understanding how you boat, we are looking to better understand how you consume boating related information. Please help us understand by taking our two minute survey.

A Krogen 50′ Open Must Read!

Dubbed “The Bluewater Issue” last year, the Krogen 50′ Open glided across seven pages of PassageMaker magazine! As a teaser, here is one of the many complimentary, albeit unique, comments: “this was the most beautifully designed and well-executed head
I’ve seen on any cruising boat.” Click here or below to read the entire article.

A FOND FAREWELL

Jennifer

After five years with Kadey-Krogen Yachts as our jack-of-all-trades person responsible for marketing, public relations, and all-things events and boat shows, Jennifer Burkett has returned to her roots of pure public relations. Jennifer has taken the position of Senior Manager of Public Relations for Boats Group, the parent company of YachtWorld, Boat Trader and Boats.com, the largest online marketplaces for boats and yachts in the world. You’re probably familiar with those sites! While the entire crew at Kadey-Krogen Yachts is sad to see her leave, we are delighted that she is continuing along a career path that combines her passion for both boating and PR–and will remain connected within the marine industry. This also means that we, and many of you, will still spot her at boat shows!

Over the past few months, I’ve had several opportunities to speak with Jennifer about her new position and am pleased to report that she has quite possibly landed the most ideal job for her at this stage in her career. She telecommutes and her travel is limited to fewer and shorter trips, as opposed to our frequent, week-long boat show travel, making for more family time with her husband and their two young boys. In addition, armed with all she learned in her tenure with us (on the manufacturer and consumer side of the marine industry), she’s well-positioned to help Boats Group provide better resources for the entire boating community.

On behalf of the entire Kadey-Krogen family, we wish Jennifer all the best.
